First time with a skills pack? See the 3-step setup below.
Pre-Call Brief — walk into every capture call already briefed on the agency and the opportunity.
Compliance-Note Cleanup — turn messy solicitation notes into a structured, shareable summary in seconds.
RFP Fit Checklist — a fast bid/no-bid gut-check before you burn a week on the wrong pursuit.
Follow-Up Drafter — a human-sounding post-call follow-up in seconds, not 45 minutes.
You'll get one .zip containing four folders — one per skill — each holding a single plain-text instruction file (SKILL.md). No installer, no dependencies, nothing to configure.
-
Unzip it. Double-clicking may only preview the archive. On Windows, right-click the file and choose Extract All first so you get the actual folders.
-
Fastest start — paste it in. Open any
SKILL.md, copy everything under "Instructions," and paste it into a fresh chat with your AI agent. Paste your RFP or notes underneath it. Works with any assistant that reads markdown instructions, on any plan, on any platform — no account, no setup, and no length limit to run into. -
Want it to persist, so you're not pasting it in every time? Depends on your platform and plan — step 2 above always works if one of these doesn't fit yours.
Claude: claude.ai — Customize → Skills → "Upload a skill." Free, on any plan. Claude Code — drop the four folders into
~/.claude/skills/; needs a paid Claude plan (Pro/Max/Team) or API billing.ChatGPT: on Plus or higher, build a Custom GPT (Explore GPTs → Create) — everything here fits with room to spare. On the Free plan, skip Projects for this — its instructions box is small, and we can't guarantee the longer skills fit whole. Use step 2 instead.
Gemini: Gems are free to build (desktop web only, at gemini.google.com). Google doesn't publish a length limit for them, so it's worth trying — fall back to step 2 if a longer skill gets cut off.
Grok: the Skills feature is new and we couldn't confirm whether it's free-tier or paid-only. Worth trying — step 2 works the same either way if it's gated.
Nothing to sign up for. Nothing runs on our servers — every file stays on your machine, and your material goes straight into your own AI chat.
Paste-in only. No API keys, no accounts, nothing to wire up. Each skill runs in about 60 seconds in your AI agent of choice.
Use it at your own risk. This pack is free, provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken — treat everything it produces as a draft for a qualified human to check, not a final answer. You're responsible for any bid/no-bid call, submission, or representation you make to a government customer; nothing here is legal, contractual, or compliance advice, and Vortex Computation accepts no liability for decisions made using it. Don't paste classified, CUI, or otherwise controlled material into this or any third-party AI assistant.
